The history
Per Seven Days (2012), roasting began in the back of the Pine Street cafe. At the time the company produced about 7,000 to 10,000 pounds a month and was moving roasting to a new 5,000 square foot facility in Williston. Its site says it has been operating for more than 30 years.
Where to start
Its shop lists Speeder's Blend and a Maple French Roast, which the company calls iconic. It also sells single-origin, fair-trade organic, and flavored coffees. The Pine Street cafe offers local pickup and online ordering.
