The roaster connection
Per Seven Days (2017), the shop's roasting side rebranded as 802 Coffee on March 20, 2017, and later moved to East Montpelier, while the cafe kept the Capitol Grounds name.
The cafe
A 2014 Seven Days review described a parklet out front designed by Vermont Tech students and a menu built around local ingredients, including chili, sandwiches, and quiche. That review is more than a decade old, so the menu has likely changed.
